TJ Dawe

TJ Dawe (born Ti-Jon David Dawe) is a Canadian playwright, director, and performer based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is well known on the Canadian and international fringe theater circuits, having performed and directed at more than 80 festivals worldwide.[1] He has also performed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina.[2]

Dawe has written and performed many one person shows, among them The Slip-Knot and A Canadian Bartender at Butlins.[3] He has written and co-written plays such as 52 Pick-up,[4] and directed other performances including the acclaimed One Man Star Wars Trilogy.[5]

Most recently, Dawe has taken time off touring Fringe Festivals, and has begun work on a website inspired by one of his shows, Totem Figures. It contains a series of interviews with public figures about who their personal influences are in life.
